Halloween Spooktacular (October 26th & 27th from 5:30pm – 8pm at Fort Edmonton Park) – While the event actually goes until 10:30pm, the family-friendly portion of the evening goes from 5:30pm – 8pm and features both indoor and outdoor activities as well as treats.
Galaxyland Halloween Trick or Treat Festival (Every weekend in October from 10am-4pm (starts at 11am on Sundays) at West Edmonton Mall) – Dress up in your costumes (not required) and bring your little ones to Galaxyland where they can ride the Halloween train, gather Halloween treats and participate in other fun activities.
Haunted Pumpkin Festival (Every weekend in October at Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm) – Be sure to check out the Haunted Pumpkin Festival and take part in fun activities such as navigating through the corn maze, visiting the haunted farm house, wagon rides, scarecrow making, visiting the petting zoo and more!
Urban Mommy Expo (Saturday, October 27th from 10am-4pm at WECA) – Visit the over 60 vendors featuring fabulous things for both moms and their children (and also their homes!).
Star Wars Identities Opens (Saturday, October 27th at Telus World of Science) – Gather your Star Wars fans and be sure get your tickets to check out the Star Wars Identities exhibition opening this Saturday!
Boo at the Zoo! (Sunday, October 28th from 11am-4pm at the Edmonton Valley Zoo) - This fun, costumed, Halloween event features face painting, sustainable palm oil candy, magic shows and more. The Adventure Bus will be on site for even more fun.
Hallo-Baloo (Wednesday, October 31st from 5:30pm-9pm in Sherwood Park) – Take your family to this free, spookless Halloween alternative that features candy (of course), crafts, inflatables, carnival games, live music and many more family-friendly activities.
World’s Largest Indoor Trick or Treat Festival (Wednesday, October 31st from 5pm-8pm at West Edmonton Mall) – Pick up your treat bag and then follow the map to find candy treasures around the mall.
Trick or Treat (Wednesday, October 31st at the following malls) – Stay warm and trick or treat at select retailers at the following malls:
- West Edmonton Mall: 5pm-8pm
- Kingsway Mall: 5pm-7pm
- Southgate Centre: 4pm – 6pm
- Sherwood Park Mall: 4pm – 7pm
- Millwoods Town Centre: 6pm-8pm
“Halloween at the AGA” – Tours For Tots (Wednesday, October 31st at the Art Gallery of Alberta) - Bring your 3-5 year old, explore the Gallery while keeping an eye out for spooky visitors and then make a Halloween mask.
