Scarecrow Festival (Friday, October 12th – Sunday, October 14th at the Edmonton Expo Centre – Hall B) – Dress up in your costumes and make sure you don’t miss the 20th and last Scarecrow Festival featuring crafts, games, and venues including Haunted Hockey, Big Al’s Creepy Crawly Cove and Brain Buckets!
My Little Pony & Chuck The Dump Truck – Live! (Friday, October 12th – Saturday, October 13th at 11am and 2pm at Bonnie Doon Mall) – Bring the little ones out to enjoy a live performance featuring My Little Pony & Chuck The Dump Truck.
Olde Time Fair on the Square (Saturday, October 13th from 10am-3pm at Churchill Square) – Enjoy some old-fashioned fun on Saturday that includes carnival games, horse & wagon rides, square dancing, treats to eat and much more.
Galaxyland Halloween Trick or Treat Festival (Saturday, October 13th from 10am-4pm at West Edmonton Mall) – Dress up in your costumes (not required) and bring your little ones to Galaxyland where they can ride the Halloween train, gather Halloween treats and participate in other fun activities.
Haunted Pumpkin Festival (Every weekend in October at Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm) – Be sure to check out the Haunted Pumpkin Festival and take part in fun activities such as navigating through the corn maze, visiting the haunted farm house, wagon rides, scarecrow making, visiting the petting zoo and more!
Reel Family Cinema (Saturday, October 13th at 12pm at Garneau Theatre) – Enjoy a traditional family Saturday afternoon matinee movie this Saturday by taking your children to see The Goonies. Children under the age of 12 get in free!
Edmonton Shrine Circus (Saturday, October 13th & Sunday October 14th – Shows at 1pm & 6pm – at Rexall Place) – The Shrine Circus comes to town only once a year so don’t miss out on the fun!
World Animal Day (Sunday, October 14th from 12pm-4pm at Edmonton Valley Zoo) – Celebrate animals and their contribution to our lives by participating in scavenger hunts, helping to colour the World Animal Day Monster Mural, making crafts and other fun activities.
“Printmaking!” – Tours For Tots (Wednesday, October 17th at the Art Gallery of Alberta) - Bring your 3-5 year old and spend an hour learning all about printmaking and then make your own prints.
