River City Round-Up (Friday, November 2nd – 10th at various Edmonton locations) – Your family can enjoy so many fun things to do including an old-fashioned fair, a scavenger hunt and western crafts.
Get into the Canadian Finals Rodeo fun too by visiting Kids Country in Hall G of the Edmonton EXPO Centre from November 5th – 11th where you can tour miniature barns featuring dairy cattle, horses, sheep and more! Don’t forget to be there on Saturday, November 10th when it’s Family Day.

Dogapalooza 2012: Fido-Friendly Family Fun (Saturday, November 3rd from 10am-6pm at West Edmonton Mall) – Dog lovers will love this family-friendly event that includes agility displays like weiner races and extreme frizbee.
Groove is in Our Hearts (Sunday, November 4th in St. Albert)- Take part in the first annual dance/walk in support of children with special needs accessing community programs. There is no fee to participate and the route features those programs who are already supporting children with special needs in community programming.
Rutherford House Remembers (Sunday, November 4th at Rutherford House) - While the significance may be lost on the younger ones, this is a great opportunity to look into the lives of the women who supported the troops from afar during World War I. See what care packages included, sample a war budget meal and even learn tips on knitting socks.
Star Wars Identities: The Exhibition (Daily at Telus World of Science) – Gather your Star Wars fans and be sure get your tickets to check out the Star Wars Identities exhibition now open until April!
WEM Attractions Presents Playtime: Yoga for Toddlers with Lolë (Monday, November 5th at West Edmonton Mall) – Bring your own mat and join one of two yoga classes geared towards the *much* younger crowd. Participation in one of the two classes (10am or 11am) makes you eligible to win a Lolë gift.
“Science and Nature” – Tours For Tots (Wednesday, November 7th at the Art Gallery of Alberta) - Bring your 3-5 year old and take a first look at EDO: Arts of Japan’s Last Shogun Age and explore colour and texture as they relate to science.
