Kaleido Family Arts Festival (September 7th – 9th on Alberta Avenue) – Immerse yourselves in all variations of art forms during this family-friendly arts festival. On Friday night, bring a lawn chair to enjoy Disney’s Tangled as an outdoor movie!
Reel Family Cinema (Saturday, September 8th at 2pm at Garneau Theatre) – Enjoy a traditional family Saturday afternoon matinee movie this Saturday by taking your children to see Walt Disney’s Dumbo. Children under the age of 12 get in free!
Delwood Fall Festival 2012 (Saturday, September 8th at Delwood Community League Hall and Grounds) - Check out the festival that has something for every family member including activities for the children such as a Children’s Bike Parade, Magic Show, Petting Zoo, Face Painting and more!
Cornfest (Saturday, September 8th at Callingwood Farmer’s Market) – Enjoy hot, Taber corn and check out the pony rides, bouncy castle, petting zoo, games and other fun activities.
Fall Family Festival (Sunday, September 9th at Devonian Botanic Garden) – Take part in projects such as creating a scarecrow, building a birdhouse or making a dried flower arrangement or join in the other fun activities such as games and an apple bake.
Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Human and Horse (Tuesday, September 11th – Sunday, September 30th at the Edmonton City Centre Airport) – This show celebrating horses is often called an “equestrian ballet” and features 49 horses and 39 artists!
“Back To The Studio!” – Tours For Tots (Wednesday, September 12th at the Art Gallery of Alberta) - Bring your 3-5 year old and spend an hour creating art through a variety of techniques.
