It’s the May long weekend! If you haven’t already made plans to go camping or to catch up on yard work, be sure to check out what is going on in and around Edmonton this coming week:
Opening Weekend Celebration (May 19th & 20th at Fort Edmonton Park) – Celebrate the season opening of this popular Edmonton attraction by taking in the live music, children’s tea parties and other fun games and family-friendly activities.
Celebration of Dance (May 21st from 10am-5pm at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village) – Enjoy traditional Ukrainian food, horse-drawn wagon rides, sheep shearing and take in one of Alberta’s largest Ukrainian dance celebrations.
Royal Canadian Circus (May 22nd starting at 7pm at Edmonton Expo Centre Hall D Arena) – Featuring acts such as equestrian demonstrations, aerial acts, elephant performances and more.
Devon Days (May 24th – 27th) – Enjoy carnival rides, face painters, balloon animals and all sorts of family-friendly fun taking place in the Town of Devon.
